Some new and exciting things!
Hello to you awesome rockin viewers! Just a few updates I’d like to share…
NEW ADDED CONTENT - This site started out of my obsessive need to seek and catalog celebrity Filipinos and my subsequent delight for discovering who’s Asian and Asian mixed in the western celebrity world.
Now I’m adding news and events on the above subjects to the mix (and intermittent features on rising stars : ) You’ll see more of the planned content on the menu bars on the home page. (The link is for the tumblr followers who don’t see the home page from their dashboard.)
NEW LAYOUT: WANNA HELP? - Since I’m adding content, the layout needs to be tweaked to maintain optimal viewing options (Famous Filipinos gallery-style viewing is available on tumview.) I’m no HTML expert, so if you’d like to show off your talent, be featured on the site, add to your portfolio, or just wanna help a girl out, please email me (with samples of your work) and we can discuss. tumblr or tumblr convertible functionality please. (I may also consider Blogspot/Blogger custom templates).
NEW SITE NAME: CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS!!! - should be based on the new content (see above and the main page menu bars for features in the pipeline); kept short and succint; catchy, cool, and easy. Please also ensure the name is not already taken for the same function. For example, “Rice-N-Roll” is used by a sushi restaurant, but not used for an Asian celebrity site, so I can still use it. Would prefer if the dot com is available. The winner will be featured on the site if you so choose.

Layout: Please submit samples of your work (can be drafted layout ideas you have for the site or past work) within 1 week, by 3pm Thursday, August 20th.
Site Name: Please submit name proposals (can be accompanied with a short explanation, summary, if you like) within 2 weeks, by 3pm Thursday, August 27th.
