Liza Lapira (born December 3, 1981) is an American actress who plays Kianna in the 2008 film 21, based on the true story of the MIT Blackjack Team. She also appeared in J. J. Abrams’ 2008 film Cloverfield as Heather and has a role in the film Table for Three. She filmed the role of Agent Sophie Trinh in the upcoming 2009 film Fast and Furious [yeah - WAY jealous that she got to hang with Paul Walker, my ALL TIME CRUSH for about 10 years now] and appears as Alva in the 2009 film Repossession Mambo.
Originally from Queens, New York, Lapira moved to Los Angeles, California in 2004. Shortly thereafter she became a series regular on the Showtime TV series Huff. Early film credits include director Tony Scott’s Domino and independent feature The Big Bad Swim, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2006.
Lapira’s New York stage credits include As You Like It, The School for Wives, The Odyssey, and Alexandra Cunningham’s No. 11 Blue and White. Her TV Credits include recurring roles in Dexter, NCIS, ER, and a guest spot on the Fox series Dollhouse. Past credits include Grey’s Anatomy, Law & Order: SVU, The Parkers as Shaquan Sex and the City, and The Sopranos.
